Niles College is pleased to offer the BLS CPR Training Course.

The 4.5 hour American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Saver CPR/AED adult & pediatric certification class covers Adult, Child, Infant CPR, choking, and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This class is for initial certification and recertification including expired CPR certificates. The BLS certificate will be issued by AHA and is valid for 2 years.

 

The AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Providers course covers:

• Critical concepts of high quality CPR

• 1 & 2 person CPR

• bag valve mask

• relief of choking (Heimlich maneuver)

• AED (adults, children & infants)

• stroke & cardiac arrest

• CPR w/advanced airway -(this is an introduction to the compression/ventilation rate and ratio for patient who has an advanced airways in place).
